that makes it very easy and convenient for you to download the compilation and pay for it the price that you want

When you click the "buy now" button on bandcamp.com,
You are asked your amount, the format you want to download (mp3, flac…), and your payment choice : Paypal, Visa, Mastercard…

Please note that your money doesn't go directly to JOICFP.

Why ?

Because if it would, we would be totally unable to know anything about the payments amounts, and to estimate the efficiency of our operation.
And we would really love to know how actually efficient it is.

And, because JOICFP prefers so.
However you pay, Bandcamp requires a paypal adress to receive the payments, and JOICFP adopts only options for donation from overseas in the forms of credit card or bank transfer.

So, you just can't pay them directly from the bandcamp interface, and that is why JOICFP asked us to first receive the donations, and then send them to their own account.

So your payment will first come to us via a special adress we've created for this : japan at laforetsansnom.com.

Please note that bandcamp.com will keep a 10 % rate on your payment amount.
Their usual rate is 15 %, but due to the uncommercial use of the money, they have kindly lowered it to 10 %, that just allows them to keep their website working.
They're a small team and we understand them.
Do you ? We hope so.

And Paypal themselves will also keep a rate of 0,30 USD + 2,9 % per payment.

So the amount we collect equals to your payment less bandcamp rate less paypal rate, and then we make a payment of this amount to JOICFP.

And we give them your name and e-mail adress and donation amount, and they send you a donation receipt & appreciation letter, in PDF and in english.

This is the partnership that we have with JOICFP.

We are very happy of it, and we hope it will be helpful as much as we can, to the women, pregnant women and new born children, stroke by the recent disaster in East Japan.

JOICFP, Japanese Organization for International Cooperation in Family Planning :

Focus on women, pregnant women, new born children

* Summary of our project

With our wish to be a help for women, pregnant women and new born children who were affected by this devastating disaster, JOICFP, International NGO, has started our humanitarian assistance in Iwate Prefecture, Miyagi Prefecture, Fukushima Prefecture and Ibaraki Prefecture.

We have witnessed pregnant women who had a hard time to give birth.

Mothers have no choice but stay in evacuation centers feeling uncomfortable with breast feeding and clothes changing and spending hard time to find diapers.

We have also witnessed women who are under stress and not able to express their needs for sanitary fittings and underwear.

JOICFP is working mainly with midwives who can listen to women's needs under this situation.

In addition, we are also working closely with other organizations such as Japanese Midwives' Associations, Japan Family Planning Association and OXFAM Japan to deliver necessary relief supplies for women's needs.

JOICFP is planning to continue our assistance for women, pregnant women, new born children focusing on the following five activities until end of March, 2012 :

1. Provision of emergency relief supplies for women, pregnant women and new born children

2. Assistance for local midwives' activities (treatment for women and pregnant women, health check, counseling )

3. Assistance for acceptance to maternity hospitals inside or outside of Prefecture

4. Family planning services

5. Financial assistance for pregnant women (provision of fifty-thousand yens)
